January 2009 Newsletter

Hi my lil' honey bee's:

Hope everyone had a beautiful Christmas & a FAB-U-Lous New Year's. As for me, I was able to enjoy the holidays with my family & friends, and even picked up a pencil & created an exciting new line for this year.

POSTED, below is the Newsletter "Brian" sent out from Photo Craft on Wilhemina. For those who haven't found this underground craft store yet, took me awhile before I heard about it.....PHOTO CRAFT is THE BEST! Ironically enough, I live down the street & had never heard about it, but they have been in business for over ten years & Brian has a great assortment of everything and anything crafters and stampers could ever dream about under one roof. Worth checking out.

Short blurb on a Free Make-It & Take-It scheduled for February the 7th 2009 on a Saturday morning...10:00 a.m. to noon. Hope some of you can make it. Please be sure to call Brian or follow the directions of signing up for the class. This will be my first class per se...since the 250 kids/adults per week I taught in Japan while I lived there awhile back...so join us if you're free...love to see a friendly face in the crowd.

If anything...will have my yummy cupcakes...so stop by for a bite & an intro to the new "himawari babies CHARACTER PUNCHES." Easier to punch out cute characters for whatever you are working on..... Hope to see some of you there.

Thank you to one & all who help keep my babies alive by purchasing apparel or any of my paper goods. You are all wonderful & special to me. Sending hugs & kisses from the bottom of my heart.

Sincerely,

"mama bee"

CLASSES / WORKSHOPS / Make & Takes / Demonstrations

** Policies on Classes and Workshops **

Our classes are starting to sell out with our new, improved workshop area. We don't want to be in the position of turning away people from a sold out class and later finding that some people did not show up. So we are now asking for all class fees to be paid in advance. You can either mail in a check, or we can take credit charges over
the phone, whichever you prefer. Class fees will be non-refundable unless you cancel in time for us to fill your reserved class space. But if you've missed a class, we'll always save the class materials for you. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

Please be sure to bring the supplies noted for each class. If you don't have a particular item, we have some open in the store to try out during the class, but the classes will move along faster if everyone has their own supplies. Of course, supplies will be available for purchase at Photo Craft.

Feb. 7th Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon This is a Free Make & Take, limit one per person.

"Introducing the Himawari (Sunflower) Babies" - Instructor: Cristina Visi

Cristina is a local talent who just happens to live really, really close to Photo Craft! Her line of 33 characters are very cute with a mixture of "Precious Moments", local, and Japanese style. You'll love her examples of cards, tags, favors, and gift cards
